First of all, neither of us ran an entire half marathon. Some of the member of our community group got together and ran a half marathon relay. Here we are:
In the end, each of us was supposed to run about 2.6 miles...but due to the wonky track length and chip tracking, Pete ended up running a little longer...maybe 3 miles. We came in 15th of 33, which really wasn't bad. After that, we drank free Smuttynose beer and got lots of free samples. We all know that the real star of the day was this guy...
Asher (Tyson and Kelly's son) was wearing a pimpin' faux fur jacket and we basically just took turns holding him for 4 hours. We had a ton of fun and then went over to watch the Pats v. Broncos with the Puetz's and DeMuth's. Good times.
On a sour note, our car broke down this past weekend and it was in the shop. A big THANK YOU to Deb and Pete for driving us around:)

New Years Eve 2011
Once again...we failed epically in taking pictures. We had a wonderful time with Carrina and Adam, and Mollie and Richard. The amazing thing...the only picture we took was of Adam and Carrina. Here it is:)
They are amazing...and we miss them dearly! I guess I could have put this picture in the same post with the 5 Christmas pictures...more thought next time.
For the actual night of New Year's Eve...we stayed in, watched a movie and drank some sparkling wine (no champagne because I am terrible with reading the labels of things that I buy).

Christmas time is here...
So this year for Christmas we traveled to good ol' Holland, MI to be with Sarah's family. Like most parts of the country...we had a brown Christmas. While that made for good/easy travel, it was not winter wonderland. We were fantastic about taking pictures with our own camera...so here's what we ended up with...
As you can see, Abigail is in all of them, I (Dan) am in one of them, and Sarah didn't make it into any of our Christmas pics. Obviously, this is something we're going to have to work on. All in all, we had a great time. We saw the entire family and laughed A LOT!
I (Dan) had to go back to MI on January 7th to take my Michigan teacher's tests. I think they went fine and I'll find out on February 3. There are definitely pictures of me (Dan) from that trip...so I'll have to post those later.
